Derived from oto (sound) and photografia,
otografia is a word created to describe a practice where
sound and image breathe into one another.

Founded by visual artist Maki Takagi,
otografia explores the subtle textures and sensations that emerge
when music becomes light, form, and movement.

Each photograph, film, and design is shaped by musical inspiration—
not as documentation, but as a visual extension of sound itself.

This site presents selected works born from that dialogue.

otografia（おとぐらふぃあ）

「oto（音）」と、スペイン語の photografía を組み合わせた造語。
音がかたちを持ち、光が呼吸し、
その間に生まれる質感や気配を視覚として編む場所です。

高木真希が音楽から受け取るインスピレーションをもとに、
写真、映像、デザインといった多様な表現が生まれました。
それらは記録ではなく、音のもうひとつの姿として存在しています。
